Dad headed the project of making the hot air balloon. I know everyone in the Medley Family has memories about making this in years past. This time dad got a pattern off the internet an it worked really well. We were lucky the policeman that went by didnt stop cuz we had candles going and everything.

You can't see me, but I am the one holding the tether to keep the balloon from escaping. I felt it was an undeserved honor bestowed upon one who avoided being interested, until they need the tether. Does the Little Red Hen story come to mind?
